The majority of companies take over when you place an order with them, but Papersowl is one of the ones who let you take over the rest of the process. That is, until you choose a writer and proceed to pay. Choosing a writer can be very interesting to a student, but it is not a great choice to make if you are in a rush. You see, the bidding processes are often taking a large portion of time since, in addition to waiting for them, you need to look through them all to make the best choice possible.
This doesn’t seem to be any of a problem here. Papersowl.com has a lot of writers with what seems to be pretty great qualifications and students say they get bids within the hour. Our concern is that feedback does not correspond to the qualifications and rating on the site in the sense that most of it is negative, and students should not be getting bad papers if the writers are overly qualified as they are presented there.
List of Services
That’s one of the fine things about a bidding system – choice to get any paper you want with any instructions you want to give. You just place the order at Papers Owl, and wait for the writers who decide that they can complete that same order. There’s still a bit of concern about whether you get bids and how many you get, but from what you’d see if you check feedback, all students who commented regarding this got plenty of bids after placing an order.
Pricing, Discounts & Payment Policy
Prices are also really flexible, which once again is a unique characteristic of such services. You can get papers really cheap compared to fixed-priced services, sometimes even cheaper than you hoped for. Interestingly, most bidders seem to be giving out low rates which do not really correspond to their qualifications. This is very tricky and apparently, the profiles are very misleading since according to all we’ve read and experienced, the profiles aren’t always realistic.
There aren’t discounts at papersowl.com unless you agree on a reduction of the bid with the writer. This is not something to be seen as a disadvantage since there is simply no reasoning in asking a bidding service to give a discount on the price you set with the writer. Papersowl is a mediator and a service that connects both sides, so discounts are off the table.
This is where the company failed us and significantly reduced their rating with our experts. After two hours spent evaluating a large amount of bidders (this confirmed what we already knew about the number of writers), we still got a poor paper quality and service that was out of the expected.
What we feared from the start actually came true. They give customers a chance to choose writers on their own, but they don’t really double-check the information on their writers’ portfolio. We know this because our writer, who was supposed to be this experienced and highly rated expert from the US, was actually someone with poor English skills. Despite the much effort put into research and the fine writing skills, the lack of good English writing skills did their damage on the text, which led to us getting a partly incomprehensive research paper.
Based on this very experience, the company showed us not only that they don’t always deliver quality when you choose a higher bid, but they are very untrustworthy in terms of their writers’ profile. How are customers supposed to choose the right writer if they don’t give out correct information?
Unlike the bidders, the customer support is really reliable. We also noticed some mistakes in the writing of the agent we spoke to, but she was more than friendly and professional throughout our entire conversation. Apparently, Papers Owl is a fine mediator in the sense that they asked for a free revision when we complained about the paper, but since they did nothing in the sense of offering a refund or another revision to fix this, we still can’t rate this company highly.
